Not really! They just look like it!

I layered a couple of different kinds of inks to get this effect. (Details on the Scrapbooks Plus Blog)

I know I still have to actually DO the journaling, but I am not sure what color ink to use...or what story I want to tell.

Maybe I'll let MC decide what she wants to remember...

A Riding Lesson

The September Design Team kit from Scrapbooks Plus had some great papers from Anna Griffin with lots of rich earthy colors. MC had just taken some horseback riding lessons, so I had just the right pictures for this layout.
I love the rustic wood pattern of the background paper. It captured the atmosphere at the riding school perfectly.

Looking at the layout now, I wish I had added a few more details...maybe photocorners on the 5x7 with some machine sewing. And I absolutely wish I had a horse charm to put on that twine!
