Goshen Memories

I printed out my digital layouts in an 8"x8" format to put them in an album. Looking at them I was inspired to actually try to create something all by myself, using the techniques I learned in Jessica Sprague's classes. This is truly my very first all by myself digi layout:

Digi paper from Misty Mareda/"Pumpkin Pie". Labels from SweetShoppe Design/"Carnival".
Torn Edge template from KPertiet. Overlay from TrishJones Distressed Diva Distressed Edge. The flourishes are PhotoShop Brushes and I will have to do a little research to find where they came from - I think they were from the Jessica Sprague course materials.

Daddy's Little Girl

The Design Team kit for this month was filled with some fabulous papers from Marrakech/Basic Grey. I finally found a way to use the huge, poster-sized print of MC that came in the JCPenney photo packet so many years ago!

When MC first saw her baby pictures, she asked me who the baby was...she knew they weren't her because her eyes are green. She was fascinated to learn that she was born with blue eyes - the same beautiful blue eyes she has in this picture!
