Welcome to Summer...

...from Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast! Those are my sister's footprints on the still pristine beaches of Pensacola, Florida. I'll be there soon...

In the meantime, I have decided to try to follow an idea my friend Sharon posted on her blog last week...journal every day this summer and create a simple scrapbook page with a picture and the journaling. Emphasis on simple and journaling. Both are a challenge for me...but of course, so is the "every day" part. Wish me luck...and enjoy your very first day of

Oh My Stars! it's July In The House!

July's "In The House" class is all about the STARS - stamped, punched, stickled and popped! Here's a sneak peak:

Tickets are a very popular embellishment in scrapbooking these days, and you will be creating your own custom tickets for this layout...lots of them!

We will also be sprinkling some red, white, and blue buttons across our pages. I have a great selection from "Rusty Pickle" that you can choose from in class, but if you happen to have a button collection (mine is from my grandmother's button box!) I encourage you to bring in a few favorites - vintage buttons would look great on this layout!

Summer Daze - June In The House

Warm ocean breezes, the sand between your toes...Summer Daze are coming so be ready with this month's In The House using BoBunny's Paradise collection. Ocean blues, sunset oranges, and sandy browns are paired with the subtle images of the beach. If you ever wanted to play with Ranger Alcohol Inks, this class will allow you to "dip your toes" into them. No heavy techniques, just a simple application of the ink to a metal frame so you can see the magic for yourself! An easy way to transform metal, glass or plastic to coordinate with your current scrapbooking project.
