'tis the Season Layout Kit

 Baking Christmas cookies with my kids is one of my favorite traditions so I designed this layout to document the day.  I plan on using the recipe card as a journaling block.  Or...maybe I will scrap a favorite family recipe and include a picture or two of the contributor as well as a photo of the finished product.  Or...maybe I will finally scrap the cookie swap I hosted  a few years ago. Lots of possibilities! 

Check out the unique button embellishments from my private stash…and the exclusive tickets I designed specifically for this project.   Everything is pre-cut for quick assembly.  The kit contains black & white pictures for reference and written instructions.  I used Powder Puff Amaretto for inking paper edges and tickets.  This layout is only available by pre-order.  Quantities are limited. These beautiful papers are from Basic Grey and feature brilliant red & green foliage on a black background, creating an elegant backdrop for your Christmas pictures.

The kit comes with (10) exclusive Christmas-themed ticket embellishments, although I only used (7) for the sample (yep - 3 bonus tickets you can use on another layout!).  It also contains a filmstrip ribbon from Tim Holtz, which I plan to fill with some trimmed down index prints…or you can leave it plain and just enjoy the dimension and texture it adds! Winter Wonderland Layout Kit

The month of December is always full of so many activities...and this month's In The House layout provides the perfect way to recall them all:

 

 The house is decorated in traditional reds & greens and includes a glittering tree and tiny packages.  As usual, the items in the shadowbox will morph into a beautiful layout.  The die cut title features many shades and patterns of Christmas greens – and it just pops off of the rich, Garnet Red background!

Techniques include stamping, die cutting and embossing with a cuttlebug, inking (Amaretto and Merlot), fussy cutting with scissors and craft knife. The class is open to all – you don’t need a shadowbox to create the layout. 

 Photos: (2) vertical 4"x6" and (5) horizontal wallets. 

Supplies/Tools: Craft knife with cutting mat, scissors, adhesive, ruler.
